Beehive Science & Technology Academy Principal Hanifi Oguz noted that Apple Distinguished Schools are centers of innovation, leadership and educational excellence that use Apple products to inspire creativity, collaboration and critical thinking. These schools showcase innovative uses of technology in learning, teaching, and the school environment and have documented results of academic accomplishment.
Oguz added, “Our staff, faculty and students use iPads and other Apple technology to enhance the learning process and to simplify administrative functions. Every student at our school is loaned an iPad for the school year. I believe that our use of Apple technology is a driving factor in establishing Beehive as one of the state’s premier STEM schools.”
