Principal Hanifi Oguz and the school to be honored May 17 at awards gala.
Sandy, Utah—Beehive Science and Technology Academy has won two Best of State awards in the education category. Hanifi Oguz won in the principal category, and Beehive captured the educational institution category.
There were 32 categories under education for this year’s competition (the competition has been held since 2010). Beehive entered two of the categories and won both. As the winner of two categories, Beehive is also eligible to win a Best of State Statue, (aka the BOSS). The statue will be given to the top individual or organization in the overall education category.
Mr. Oguz and the school will be presented with Best of State medals at the Best of State Awards Gala to be held May 17 at the Salt Palace Convention Center Grand Ballroom.
